Heat-resistant long-wavelength ultraviolet absorber "DAINSORB T-206"

Blue light cut, high heat resistance UV absorber "DAINSORB T-206"

Recently, the demand for polyester and polycarbonate with blue light cut performance for applications such as eyewear and displays has been increasing. Generally, these resins are molded by melt mixing at high temperatures of around 300°C. When adding UV absorbers to the resin, it is common to add them during the mixing process; however, in the case of organic UV absorbers, the decomposition temperature is often below 300°C. Therefore, there are few UV absorbers that can withstand temperatures above 300°C. Our product has heat resistance above 300°C, allowing for direct melt mixing with materials that require temperatures above 300°C for molding, similar to the aforementioned resins. As a result, it is possible to impart blue light cut performance directly to the resin itself.

Long-wavelength ultraviolet absorber "DAINSORB TC-1"

Blue light cut, [410nm cut] ultraviolet absorbent "DAINSORB TC-1"

Recently, there has been an increasing demand for materials with blue light cut performance (410nm cut performance) for applications such as eyewear and electronic materials. However, it is common for materials targeting this wavelength to have absorption capabilities that extend into the visible light range, which can affect the color tone of the final product. This product is a material that can suppress coloring by enhancing material purity while maintaining absorption capabilities above 410nm. It enables the design of films and optical lenses that provide 410nm protection for the material while maintaining the aesthetic appearance of the product.
